Mumbai: Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Railway Board, Satish Kumar, conducted an inspection of the ongoing station improvement works at Ghatkopar railway station today. He was accompanied by General Manager, Central Railway; Chairman and Managing Director, Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC); and Divisional Railway Managers of the Mumbai Divisions of both Central and Western Railways. Mumbai: As part of the inspection and evaluation of the ongoing developmental projects at various stations across Mumbai. Seen in the picture are the Chairman & CEO of Railway Board and team are inspecting at Khar Road station last night.

The inspection focused on reviewing the progress of the station’s infrastructure enhancement initiative. Phase I of the project has been successfully completed, while Phase II is currently underway and progressing as per the planned schedule.

During the inspection, Satish Kumar expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of the work. He directed the concerned officials to ensure the timely completion of the remaining works, while maintaining the highest standards of passenger safety. He further emphasized that the execution should be carried out without disrupting regular train operations, through optimal utilisation of scheduled block periods.
