Mumbai: MSEDCL appointed Yogesh Gadkari as Director (Commercial). He has been selected through direct recruitment. Today he has assumed charge as Director (Commercial). Earlier Yogesh Gadkari was working as Executive Director (Payments and Revenue).
A native of Nagpur, Yogesh Gadkari completed his B.E. from Engineering College in Amravati. (Computer Engineering) done. Joined the then Maharashtra State Electricity Board in Wardha as Junior Engineer in April 1994. He has worked in various positions in the Mumbai headquarters. He was appointed to the post of Executive Director (Payments & Revenue) through promotion.
Gadkari is known as a very knowledgeable official in the power sector. Also, he has brought about radical changes in the central billing system of Mahavitran which has reduced customer complaints and increased the revenue of Mahavitran.
