Mumbai: Maharashtra Governor reviews work of Universities on Innovative Ideas, Incubation, Start Ups. Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of State Universities Bhagat Singh Koshyari had a meeting with directors of Innovation, Incubation and Linkages in traditional universities of Maharashtra at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Friday (25th Mar).

The Maharashtra Governor witnessed and reviews the presentations made by the Directors of all 11 traditional Universities and discussed the innovative ideas being encouraged by the universities through innovation.

He reviewed the work being done by the universities to promote entrepreneurship and startups. Mentioning that the nation wants its youths to become job creators and not job seekers, he expressed the hope that the number of success stories coming from the universities will increase. In this connection, the Governor praised the work done by the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and other universities. He asked universities to coordinate among each other to share their successful initiatives.
