The campaign is focused on promoting entrepreneurship, enhancing financial inclusion and accelerating loan disbursement to MSMEs, startups, women entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals.

As part of the initiative, the bank has organised outreach programmes in several cities where entrepreneurs, traders, industrial units and business associations participated in large numbers. Senior bank officials interacted directly with customers and explained various loan products and banking solutions available for MSMEs.

The programmes highlighted financial products including working capital loans, term loans, machinery finance, Mudra loans, GST-linked lending, trade finance and collateral-free credit schemes backed by government guarantees.

During recent outreach drives, substantial loan sanctions were made to MSME units to support expansion, business modernisation and employment generation. Dedicated help desks and customer facilitation centres were also set up to simplify the loan application and approval process.

Bank officials stated that the initiative is aimed at strengthening the MSME ecosystem, which plays a crucial role in India’s manufacturing, exports and job creation.

The campaign also focused on digital banking solutions, faster loan processing and improving awareness among small businesses regarding formal banking channels.

Industry experts believe easier institutional credit access and quicker financing support are essential for MSMEs amid rising competition, changing market conditions and increasing technological transformation.

The Central Bank of India is expected to continue similar outreach programmes across industrial clusters and business centers in the coming months as part of its nationwide MSME growth strategy. www.forevernews.in
