ITPO & Roscongress Foundation, Russia sign MOU to promote bi-lateral trade

New Delhi: Over the past decades, bi-lateral ties between India and Russia have expanded in depth and scale. Significantly, the 21st round of India-Russia Annual Summit held on December 6, 2021 during the visit of H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia was marked with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Roscongress Foundation, Russia for promotion of bilateral trade. The MoU was signed by Mr. L.C. Goyal, Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO, and Mr. Alexander Stuglev, Chief Executive Officer, the Roscongress Foundation, Russia.
It aims at promoting trade exhibitions, collaborating for the trade events to be organized by the both organizations, facilitating visits of trade delegations and strengthen the dialogue between Indian and Russian business communities.
Roscongress Foundation, a socially oriented not for profit organization, is a major organizer of international conventions in Russia. It is instrumental in holding major economic forums such as the Eastern Economic Forum, St. Petersburg International Economic and Sochi International Investment Forums. ITPO is a premier trade promotion agency serving under the Department of Commerce, Government of India.
