Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the National Youth Conference organised by the Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, where he called on India’s youth to become “ambassadors of Bharat” and uphold constitutional values through action and character. Addressing thousands of students and educators from across the country, Dhankhar praised the Brahma Kumaris organisation for nurturing both spiritual awareness and civic engagement among India’s future leaders.
Underscoring that India is undergoing a period of unprecedented transformation, Dhankhar said that the nation’s rise—reflected in technological progress, diplomatic stature, and economic achievement—must be matched by ethical integrity and national pride. He encouraged the youth to engage deeply with the Constitution of India, describing it as both a roadmap for the nation and a moral compass for individuals.
Dhankhar drew a comparison between India’s current demographic advantage and the emerging global influence of Bharat. He noted that the country’s median age of 28 positions it uniquely to drive development, innovation, and ethical leadership in the decades ahead. He pointed to India’s presidency of the G20 and success in high-tech domains as evidence of this growing influence.
While celebrating these achievements, Dhankhar warned against any erosion of institutional credibility. He described accountability and transparency in public life as foundational to democracy and urged young citizens to question, participate, and serve the nation with responsibility and sincerity. He praised the work of Brahma Kumaris in reinforcing self-reflection, moral clarity, and value-based leadership among youth and educators.
Referring to Mount Abu as a “spiritual laboratory” that harmonises ancient wisdom with modern aspiration, he expressed confidence that the conference would inspire young people to lead lives of balance, service, and constitutional awareness.
The Vice President also interacted with students and conference organisers on themes related to ethical governance, education, and spiritual development. The conference concluded with a pledge to strengthen India’s constitutional democracy through youth participation and values-driven leadership.
