In a message marking the celebration, he said Deepawali symbolizes the triumph of goodness over evil and knowledge over ignorance, and serves as a reminder of the values of charity and inclusivity deeply rooted in India’s civilizational ethos.
He emphasized that the festival is a time to support the needy and underprivileged, and to reflect on the importance of shunning negativity and Adharma in favor of positivity and Dharma. This, he said, is essential not only for individual well-being but also for the collective progress of the nation.
Drawing a parallel with the countless diyas lit across homes that illuminate the night skies during Deepawali, he said that the dedication and commitment of every citizen should similarly light the path to collective growth for Bharat. He concluded his message with a prayer to Goddess Lakshmi to bless everyone with peace, prosperity, and good health.
