IndiaAI Mission, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in partnership with the World Health Organization, has issued a global call for abstracts spotlighting impactful and scalable applications of Artificial Intelligence in health systems. The initiative aims to curate a Casebook of real-world AI health use cases across the Global South, to be unveiled at the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
The Casebook, jointly developed by IndiaAI and WHO, will serve as a definitive reference for policymakers, innovators, and researchers seeking to replicate and scale responsible AI solutions in healthcare. By capturing successful deployments and lessons learned, the publication is expected to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen ethical AI adoption across diverse health ecosystems.
Researchers, institutions, and innovators from the Global South are invited to submit abstracts of up to 250 words by October 31, 2025. Submissions must highlight implementable and scalable AI solutions that have demonstrated measurable impact in health systems. Selected contributors will be invited to submit full chapters between 2,500 and 3,000 words, detailing the solution’s design, deployment strategy, ethical considerations, outcomes, and replicability. The deadline for chapter submissions is December 15, 2025.
Entries will be evaluated for relevance, quality, and alignment with the Casebook’s mission to replicate successful AI health innovations across the Global South. The final compilation will be launched at the India–AI Impact Summit scheduled for February 19–20, 2026.
