Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday hailed India’s firm anti-terror stance, declaring, “Enough is enough! No more tolerance of terrorism.” Addressing students at Sainik School Chittorgarh in Rajasthan, Dhankhar emphasized that those who resort to terrorism will face decisive consequences, citing Bahawalpur and Muridke as examples.
Praising the armed forces for the success of Operation Sindoor, Dhankhar stated, “As a proud Indian, I can say the recent lesson we taught the enemy across the border, we are proud of our defense forces.” He added that the Pahalgam terror attack had been avenged, earning worldwide recognition.
The Vice President emphasized that the terror hubs of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, which had long operated in Bahawalpur and Muridke, were eliminated deep inside Pakistan’s territory, beyond the international border.
“You must have seen coffins being escorted by terrorists, their Army, and their politicians. That was the greatest success of our defense forces,” Dhankhar remarked.
He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for pioneering Sainik Schools for girls, acknowledging the historic one-third reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and State Legislatures.
“During our times and decades thereafter, Sainik Schools were meant only for boys. Fifty percent of humanity was ignored. Can you succeed in the world without 50 percent of the talent not being recognized?” he asked, highlighting the progress toward gender inclusion in military education.
Dhankhar’s address reinforced India’s evolving defense strategy, emphasizing firm retaliation against terrorism and greater inclusivity in the armed forces.
