Bhiwandi: The 26th anniversary of Shri Ambika Yogashram was celebrated with deep devotion and enthusiasm on Thursday, 25 December 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the Ambika Yogashram project located amidst a scenic natural setting in Lakhivali village of Bhiwandi taluka.

26th anniversary of Shri Ambika Yogashram was celebrated with deep devotion and enthusiasm.
For the anniversary celebrations, around 700 to 800 yoga practitioners and yoga teachers from various branches of Shri Ambika Yogashram spread across Maharashtra attended in large numbers. The event was graced by the presence of the institution’s Chief Executive, Shri Vinayak Desai Guruji, senior yoga teachers Shri and Smt. Karpe, and Shri Pai, Head of Ambika Healthcare Production.
The programme began with all yoga practitioners and teachers coming together to collectively chant the Gayatri Mantra 108 times. This was followed by the chanting of Omkar, which purified the atmosphere and infused it with energy, filling the entire ashram premises with spiritual calmness and positive energy.
Thereafter, a few yoga practitioners from the new batch expressed their thoughts and experiences. They shared heartfelt reflections on the positive changes in their physical, mental, and practical lives before and after practicing yoga; the inspiration they received from the ashram’s selfless service of providing free yoga education; and the sense of warmth, harmony, and camaraderie among yoga practitioners and teachers across various branches in Maharashtra. Their personal experiences inspired the audience and generated positive energy.
A significant highlight of the celebration was the ‘Yoga Teacher Degree Award Ceremony – 2025.’ New yoga teachers who had successfully completed two consecutive years of yoga training at Ambika Yogashram and passed the examinations were awarded their yoga teacher degrees at the hands of the dignitaries. Shri Vinayak Desai Guruji addressed the gathering, providing valuable guidance on yoga education and sharing insights into the overall activities of the institution. The venue was filled with an atmosphere of joy and pride.
The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanti Path. This was followed by a fellowship lunch, during which yoga practitioners and teachers engaged in free interaction, question-and-answer sessions, and an exchange of experiences. At the same time, an exhibition and sale of Ambika Yogashram’s Ayurvedic, chemical-free healthcare products at nominal prices was organised, which received a very positive response from the attendees.
Additionally, the book ‘Anupath,’ written by the institution’s Chief Executive Shri Vinayak Desai Guruji—explaining the essence of yoga philosophy and offering guidance on how to easily incorporate classical yoga into daily life—was made available for sale and received an overwhelming response.
Surrounded by nature, and marked by the confluence of yoga, service, and spiritual practice, the 26th anniversary of Shri Ambika Yogashram proved to be inspiring, memorable, and energising for all those present.
