Pune: Bank of Maharashtra proudly announces that Ms. P. Ananya Sree, a valued employee and member of the Bank’s Women’s Volleyball Team, has been selected to represent India at the AVC Women’s Nations Cup 2025. The prestigious international tournament will take place in Vietnam from June 7 to 14, 2025.

Adding to this achievement, two more members of the Bank’s Women’s Volleyball Team—Ms. Janani Devendran and Ms. Mariya Shaibi—have also ranked among the top 22 players shortlisted from a pool of 70 candidates for the tournament.

Following a rigorous selection process, 12 talented players were inducted into the Bank’s workforce on August 26, 2024. These efforts mark a significant step towards integrating sports and professional development.
