Mumbai: Vilas S. Wadekar, Chairman and Managing Director, Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation (MRVC), unveiled the MRVC Calendar 2026, highlighting major infrastructure projects executed across the Mumbai Suburban Railway network.

The calendar features visuals of key passenger-centric initiatives, including station improvement works at Khar Road, elevated passenger decks at Vasai Road and Badlapur, and the commissioning of foot over bridges and escalators at several stations. It also showcases flagship corridor projects such as the Virar–Dahanu quadrupling and the Panvel–Karjat suburban corridor.
On the occasion, Wadekar extended New Year greetings to suburban commuters and reaffirmed MRVC’s commitment to completing Mumbai Urban Transport Projects (MUTP) within stipulated timelines, with a focus on enhancing passenger comfort and safety. He further underscored the importance of continued coordination with the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Maharashtra to ensure the timely execution of ongoing and upcoming MUTP works.
