Pune: Prabhat Kiran assumed the role of Executive Director at Bank of Maharashtra on 24 November 2025. Before joining the Bank, he served as Chief General Manager (CGM) at Canara Bank, leading the Large Corporate Credit Wing and managing key credit portfolios along with strategic lending operations. He brings with him over three decades of extensive experience in the banking sector.

Prabhat Kiran began his career with Canara Bank in 1996 and has since held several critical positions, contributing meaningfully to the Bank’s growth and transformation. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, strengthening his expertise in financial management, corporate credit analysis, and policy formulation.
With his deep proficiency in large corporate credit, strategic planning, and operational leadership, Shri Prabhat Kiran’s appointment marks a significant milestone for Bank of Maharashtra.
