The Ministry of Labour and Employment has issued a public warning against two fraudulent websites—viksitbharatrozgaryojana.org and pmviksitbharatrozgaryojana.com—that are falsely claiming to be affiliated with the Government of India and inviting job applications under the name of the Ministry. The Ministry clarified that it has no connection with these portals and urged citizens not to share personal information or make payments through them.
PIB Fact Check, the official fact-checking unit of the Press Information Bureau, confirmed that is a fake website and has no association with the Ministry of Labour and Employment. The Ministry emphasized that the official portal for the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana is or pmvbry.labour.gov.in, which went live in August following the scheme’s announcement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Independence Day address.
Citizens, employers, and stakeholders have been advised to remain vigilant and report suspected cybercrimes at . The Ministry reiterated that all authentic information and services under the scheme are available only through the official portals and that any recruitment claims made by unauthorized websites are fraudulent.
