India Post, the largest postal network across the world has been a banker to the unbanked since the last 170 years, reaching to the remotest corners of the country with multifarious financial services. This accidental policy is its step ahead to cover the under privileged citizenry in the envelope of security and financial service.

Postmaster General, India Post, Mumbai Region, Ms Swati Pandey said, “India Post and IPPB has been walking together in the path of rendering uninterrupted service to the citizenry with special emphasis to facilitate the unbanked populace and bring them under the umbrella of financial services. Tata Accidental Guard will focus on the financially weaker sections of the society who finds it extremely difficult to bear the astronomical expenses of post-accidental treatment and often succumb to the costs and trauma. Also, this would  be an example of a successful public-private partnership project that aims to attain a financially inclusive society.”
