Mumbai: The Department of Posts is pleased to announce the rollout of the next-generation APT application, marking a major milestone in the mission to drive digital excellence and support nation-building. The upgraded system will be introduced at Mahim Head Post Office, Thane Head Post Office, Shrirampur Head Post Office, Jalgaon Head Post Office, Amaravati Head Post Office, Kolhapur Head Post Office, and their respective sub and branch post offices, starting from 22nd July 2025.

To ensure a seamless and secure transition, there will be a planned downtime on 21st July 2025. On this day, public transactions will be temporarily suspended across the affected locations. This brief pause is necessary to complete data migration, system checks, and final configurations, ensuring that the new system goes live smoothly.

The upgraded APT application will deliver a better user experience, quicker service, and a more intuitive interface for customers. This step reinforces our commitment to smarter, faster, and future-ready postal services.

We request our esteemed customers to plan their visits accordingly and thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this short service interruption.
