Gurugram July 20, 2016: From a dusty, little-visited suburb of Delhi, Gurugram is today the National Capital Region’s glitziest outpost. With a skyline that evokes comparisons with Hong Kong and Singapore, Gurugram’s funky high-rises, malls and entertainment complexes have become the preferred destination for the funky gen-Next and young urban professionals, who would look forward to an evening of excitement, thrill, zest and fun. Also known as the Millennium city, Gurugram is full of new possibilities, extravaganza and excitement. As the city believes in working hard and partying harder, it has become one of the preferred destinations for party lovers.
The City, with its thriving roof top cafes and bustling restaurants, has welcomed a unique and never-seen-before restaurant called ‘The Addams House’. The management credits the inspiration to the popular American cartoon characters of the Addams Family. The restaurant delights in interiors that hinge on dark-humor and the satirically macabre. The Addams House had a ‘spooktacular’ opening, when it opened its doors for public on the 23rd June, 2016 at Sector-29, in Gurugram.
Mr. Karan Parvesh Singh, co-owner of the restaurant said, “With this unique offering, we have successfully paired an iconic American concept with Indian tastes to cater to the largely cosmopolitan customer-base in the NCR region. The Addams House will surely strike the right note across different customer segments and age-groups and we are confident will become the ‘go-to’ place for the gen-next to have fun, food and beverage, all at the same time.” The brewery is co-owned by Mr. Bhanu Pratap Chahal, Mr. Sandeep Nehra and Mr. Karan Parvesh Singh.
Bhanu Pratap Chahal, co – owner of the Restaurant said, “The restaurant has added a quirky twist to the normal brewery and kitchen, by introducing molecular food and drinks, a treat for all your senses. Be prepared to be amazed as there are definitely more than what meets the eye. It is a potpourri of bold American flavors, enmeshed with unique Indian textures to tickle the taste-buds of the discerning Indian palate.
The gastronomical kitchen and brewery with an energetic and service-friendly staff successfully captures the nostalgia of the original Addams Family. The stunning terrace with a bird’s eye view of the sector 29 markets would be the proverbial icing on the cake and with the tastefully done interiors in shades of grey the restaurant sets the mood for a sinister, yet fun-filled evening of molecular food and drink.
