New Delhi: Tata Motors has launched a new variant of the Safari Storme VX. Let us check out five exciting features of the vehicle.

The Safar Storme VX is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 drive options, and is priced at Rs 13.25 lakh for the 4X2 option and the VX 4X4 option is priced at Rs 14,59,952 (ex-showroom New Delhi).
With renewed 156 PS power, the new 2.2L VARICOR 400 engine now produces 400Nm of torque, delivered through a new 6-speed manual gearbox, with a self-adjusting clutch. With power delivered to all-4 wheels with a Shift-on-the fly four-wheel drive system, the vehicle is fitted with Limited Slip Differential (LSD) which enables the vehicle to negotiate any surface with ease.
The Safari Storme VX also features Tata Motors new integrated CONNECTNEXT system with 6-speaker surround sound by Harman. The new CONNECTNEXT system has contemporary features like – Speed Dependent Volume Control, Bluetooth Hands Free, with CD/MP3/Radio/Aux/USB and iPod connectivity, Phone Book Download, Audio Streaming and a Reverse Parking Sensor Display.
The new Safari Storme VX delivers a performance of 0 – 100 km/hr in less than 13 seconds. The new VARICOR 400 engine, turbocharged with VTT (Variable Turbine Technology), delivers 156 PS power & 400 Nm torque, providing easy drivability, swifter response and lower NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), with fuel efficiency at 13.9 kmpl. The 4X4 variant also features ESOF (electronic shift-on-fly) technology, enabling engagement of the 4X4 or 4X2 mode on the move.
ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) brings in the reassurance for better control of the Safari Storme on every terrain. Crumple zones, side intrusion beams on all four doors, dual SRS airbags and the collapsible steering column keeps passengers safe from all sides.
