SBI enlightens bankers from China on Corporate Banking and e-Banking in India




Mumbai, December 15, 2015: State Bank of India (SBI) played host to bankers from Republic of China. Strategic Training Unit of SBI organized the event for the Chinese bankers who were in India as part of their overseas study tour, under International Talent Development Program (ITDP). The Bankers delegation was welcomed by Shri. Ashwini Mehra, Deputy Managing Director & Corporate Development Officer. Shri. Mehra also explained them the unique history, legacy and evolution of largest bank in India, State Bank of India. The team from Corporate Banking Group, led by Shri Avinash R Kulkarni, Chief General Manager enlightened the guests on ‘Corporate Banking and the Application of e-Banking in India’.  The event was followed by a lively Q&A session and the delegation headed by Mr. Wu-Chin Lin, Vice President of Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, was impressed with the robust online solutions that SBI uses & offers to its customers for their day to day transactions.
