Mumbai, 19th May, 2016: Viviana Mall, leading preferred destination mall in Mumbai Metropolitan Region bagged the coveted ‘Socially Responsible Shopping Centre of the year’ award by Images Shopping Centre Awards (ISCA).
Viviana Mall as a part of community initiative has always strives hard at giving it back to the society. It is India’s first and only mall that is considered to be visually impaired friendly mall in the country. The mall has constantly made efforts to build a more inclusive milieu for the visually challenged. More than just a social cause the mall consider it has the way to connect and bring smile on the visually impaired customers who can’t see the beauty of the mall but feel it and they want to make their feeling exemplary.

The management believes that the mall is a community centre and not just a shopping centre. With this thought they created a platform named “Vision Viviana”. The mall has been awarded at various platforms including at international level. All stores inside the mall have Braille stickers at store front giving information about the store. All restaurants have implemented special Audio plus Braille menu cards helping visually impaired people to order food of their choice. Special resource training centre with highly equipped systems, provide free computer training to all visually impaired people.
