A S Rajeev, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Maharashtra inaugurated new building of Mahabank RSETI at Nasik on 21st September, 2019. Bank has established Seven Rural Self-Employment Training Institutes for imparting training to rural youth and women to enable them to acquire skills for self-employment through small business enterprises. S Buvneshwari, CEO, Zilla Parishad, Nasik; Nilesh Sagar, Additional District Collector, Nasik; N S Deshpande, General Manager, Agriculture, FI & SLBC and B S Tavhare, Zonal Manager, Nasik, were present at the inaugural function.
At inaugural ceremony A S Rajeev, MD&CEO said “Our MRSETI is working for the uplift of youth and women in rural areas on both social and financial front. He expressed his satisfaction on the working of MRSETI. Rajeev launched Mahashetkari Atmanirbhay Yojana (MAY) for the youth of drought prone areas of Amaravati district for imparting training at MRSETI, Amravati and credit linking to those trained candidates through branches of Bank of Maharashtra in Amravati District.
S Buvneshwari, CEO, Zilla Parishad, Nasik was the chief guest at the inaugural function. She said that Mahabank RSETI is doing yeoman service to the rural youth and women at large in Maharashtra. Buvneshwari said that Zilla Parishad administration will provide all support.
Nilesh Sagar, Additional District Collector, Nasik also praised the work done by MRSETI, Nasik and expressed his satisfaction. He opined that with new infrastructure of Mahabank RSETI, it will initiate more programs for the rural youth and women. The program was also attended by Sunil Kasture, State Director for RSETIs in Maharashtra State.
