Mumbai: NCC Maharashtra concludes the week long ’Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Online Camp. The week long online NCC Camp ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat‘ organised by NCC Directorate Maharashtra, that commenced on 21 Sep 2020, has concluded today on 26 Sep 2020. This online camp was third in the series webinar organised for NCC Cadets during the ongoing pandemic. The underlying theme & emphasis of this webinar was on the ‘New Education Policy‘ in addition to promoting Unity in Diversity & strengthening the Social Fabric of our country.

NCC Maharashtra concludes the week long ’Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ Online Camp. ​​The webinar gave an opportunity to about 200 cadets from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh to witness an enriching & valuable online camp that hosted educational presentations on History, Geography, culture, heritage, cuisine, tourism & regional dialects of all three States. While the webinar was coordinated by Army Officers posted to NCC, the online presentations were exclusively done by NCC Cadets themselves, thereby boosting their confidence & enriching their knowledge. 100 cadets of NCC Directorate, Maharashtra participated in this online camp including 50 girl cadets. The Debate & Quiz competition was also organised on ‘New Education Policy’ and resulted in a fruitful interaction amongst the cadets. The overall response of NCC Cadets to the webinar was very encouraging.

This online camp was conducted by NCC Group Amravati on behalf of NCC Directorate Maharashtra. Colonel Ganesh Chandra Upadhyay, CO 4 Maharashtra Girls Battalion was the chief coordinating officer under the overall guidance of Brig Sudhir Kumar Jha, YSM, the Group Commander Amravati Group
