Manjula Mathur presents copy of ‘Bird’s Abode’ to Governor


Wildlife enthusiast, bird photographer and retired officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service Manjula Mathur presented a copy of her Coffee Table book ‘Bird’s Abode’ to State Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tuesday (29 May). Spouse of Manjula and Director General of Maharashtra Police Satish Mathur was also present.

Bird’s Abode is a compilation of some of Manjula Mathur’s photographs of various birds from the Indian subcontinent shot across various bird habitats in the country. There are separate sections of Birds of Grassland, Birds of Forest, Birds of Deserts, Birds of Prey, Wading Birds, Wetland Birds in the book.
