Young and spirited players of Central Bank of India football team outplayed their ace rival Western Railway by 3 goals to 1 in the exciting and prestigious elite division league match played at Mahalaxmi football ground Mumbai. Young players of the bank played their hearts out and took the lead in the opening minute of the game with solo effort by the seasoned goal scorer Deepak Pal. The CBI defence and goalkeeper stood strong as a rock and did not allow the railway men to score the equaliser till the completion of the first half of the match. The second half of the match was more exciting wherein the railway men combined and played well by which they could manage to score a goal and draw level with their oponent. The bank men came back into the game in the last 20 minuties of the match and scored 2 goals in quick succession. The young striker Yogesh Kadam scored a brace (2 goals) within ten minutes which gave no chance to the Railway men to recover till the completion of 90 minutes.
