During the meeting, it is presented that Banks have extended Crop Loan disbursement to the tune of 76% of the target as of 30th September 2020, which is substantially good as compared to last three years. Govt. of Maharashtra insisted Banks in the State to continue financing under Crop Loan during ongoing Rabi, 2020 season and to cover all eligible MJPSKY, 2019 Debt Waiver beneficiaries during ensuing Rabi season. Favourable factors such as Good monsoon, MJPSKY, 2019 beneficiary farmers with cleared past dues & Economic Packages announced by Govt. of India under Atmanirbahr Bharat, etc. are giving much needed opportunity to Member Banks to increase finance under Investment Credit.
