Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday paid tributes to BSF trooper Brajendra Bahadur Singh, who was killed in Pakistani firing in the R.S. Pura sector in Jammu and Kashmir.

Adityanath said Singh will “always be remembered for the supreme sacrifice he made in the defence of the country”. He also extended his sympathies to the bereaved family.

Singh was a resident of Ballia in Uttar Pradesh. The state government has committed to extend all possible help to his family. He was critically injured at the Shahnaz forward post on Friday.
