Medical education given to doctors in Maharashtra is of good quality. Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh said that this training program will be implemented by the Uttar Pradesh government. He was speaking in a seminar organized by the Harvard World Health Organization at the Piramal Tower in Lower Parel. Representatives of world-class hospital in Mumbai, representatives of health institutions, pharmaceutical manufacturing companies were present in this seminar. Uttar Pradesh government has been focusing heavily on urban and rural health services. Accordingly, health related improvements are being made. Basic facilities are being provided at District Hospital, Primary Health Centers. Also, vacancy is high due to the retirement of doctors in the state. So the process of filling up those vacant seats is going on. He said that the training program being provided by the Health Department of Maharashtra Government will be used for the training of the recruited doctors. Facilities like public transport, railway services, roads and air services in Uttar Pradesh are being made fast. In addition, the Uttar Pradesh government is using modern technology to provide better facilities to rural areas. Through video conferencing, doctors in the District Hospital and Primary Health Center are being provided guidance. In order to attract investment to the health sector, Uttar Pradesh Investment Summit 2017 has been organized and he appealed to the nominated hospitals, health institutes and pharmaceutical companies to invest in Uttar Pradesh.
