Based on the New York Times bestseller book, WONDER written by author R. J. Palacio. It tells the incredibly inspiring and heartwarming story of August Pullman, a boy born with facial deformity who enters fifth grade, attending a mainstream elementary school for the first time and his journey.
What’s Good – The film has some earnestly award winning and applause worthy performances by actors Jacob Tremblay, Isabella Vidovic, Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson.
The story is very touching and endearing too.
It teaches one and all a lesson to treat everyone right no matter what their shortcomings.
It elaborates how parents of a special child garner all their attention to their special child ignoring their normal child causing mental trauma to the healthy kid.
What’s Bad – The movie which has a short runtime still does feel a bit of a slow drag in some phases. It could have been edited better and made still shorter.
My Verdict – Wonder is really a wonderful film that will touch your heart and mind in a very loving way go see it.
