BSP’s internal rift following Uttar Pradesh defeat bursts out in the open. A day after expulsion, the party’s former muslim face Naseemuddin Siddiqui accuses Mayawati of insulting muslims. Claims Mayawati demanded 50 crore rupees from him. BSP Supremo hits back with denial and counter charges.
A day after he was expelled from BSP, Naseemuddin Siddiqui yesterday alleged that party supremo Mayawati had demanded Rs 50 crore from him while also accusing her of having made objectionable remarks against Muslims. Naseemuddin, who was a Mayawati loyalist for the last 3 decades, and his son Afzal Siddiqui was expelled from the party for anti-party activities.

Holding a press conference, Siddiqui said he has information that could help in ongoing investigations against Mayawati. He claims he has knowledge of her assets, and those of her brother Anand and Satish Mishra.

Siddiqui has also accused Mayawati of threatening his life. However, Mayawati has denied all these charges.
