Mumbai: Nestled in a beautiful forest, the BNHS Conservation Education Centre (CEC) is blessed with the sights of blooming flowers, birds taking nectar from flowers, wild animals venturing out in search of water during summer and much more making this place a magnet for photographers. CEC presents an opportunity for all those amateur nature lovers and photographers to learn basic photography skills during the day long ‘Nature Photography Workshop’ organized on 30th April at CEC, Goregaon.
Expert photographers will guide the participants over two sessions, a lecture in the first session and applying the learned techniques in the second. One of the strengths of this workshop is the scope provided to participants to apply the tools and techniques learnt during workshop to enhance and develop their own style. The expert’s guidance will not only help participants gain exceptional knowledge but also capture some exceptional photographs.
Ms Swapnali Matkar from Photo Circle Society will be guiding participants about basics of photography, giving a fair understanding of digital photography, camera operations and handling techniques.
Dr. Anand Narvekar from Photography Club of India will be guiding the participants about Macro Photography. His presentation will include more than 300 photos with series of unique ‘Beyond Life Size’ high magnification macro photography.
