New Delhi: With the release of `Badlapur` just round the corner, curiosity level has just upped around the film’s title, story and Varun Dhawan’s character.

Fans and the Bollywood fraternity are eager to watch Varun undergo the transition from his previous lover boy image to the dark and angry one in `Badlapur`.

The Sriram Raghavan helmed film has a very unusual title for a movie and one can only wonder why was it named so.
Well, according to a leading daily, since badla in hindi means revenge and the story plot revolves around Varun’s revenge and also his character witnesses change during the journey (badlav).

Incidentally, Badlapur is also a suburb’s name on Central railway route in Mumbai. This has a very significant aspect in the film.

Now, has that whet your appetite for the film? You can watch it on February 20, at a theatre near you.
