India power launches BharatPay Card for digital payments

Mumbai, 7th December’ 2017– In the quest to move ahead towards digitisation, India Power Corporation Limited, recently launched yet another platform for digital payments – Bharatpay card. India Power already has e-payment options through PayTM, M-Pesa and Bill Desk and the launch of BharatPay Card is yet another step towards offering easy payment options.

Present during the launch of this card were Divisional Commissioner Magadh – Shri Jitendra Prashad Srivastava along with Additional District Judge Shyam Kishore Jha and Chief Judicial Magistrate Santosh Kumar, Amrish Parikh, CEO, BharatPay Card & Sanjeev Seth, CEO, India Power Corporation Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sanjeev Seth, CEO, India Power Corporation Ltd, said “This is yet another move by us to join the digital payment bandwagon and making the process of payments easier for our customers”.

To attract customers towards digital payments, IPCL has also announced a lucky draw under which all customers paying the electricity bill through the BharatPay Card, will be eligible for a luck draw contest with exciting prizes to be won.

Additionally, Mr. Seth informed that customers will also have the freedom to withdraw money with the BharatPay Card.
