Electronic Secured Bank and Treasury Receipt (e-SBTR) Signing of Agreement between State Bank of India and Inspector General of Registration & Controller of Stamps, Maharashtra State, Pune.

SBI will now providing facilities for online / over the counter payment of stamp duty Registration fee / e-SBTR through all its branches in Maharashtra on behalf of the Inspector General of Registration & Controller of Stamps, Maharashtra State, Pune the agreement between SBI and IGR has been signed on 13.07.2017. Customers and non-customers of SBI can now collect the e-Stamp Papers from SBI branches. The main feature of scheme is :

  1. Total transaction value should be Rs.100/= and above
  2. Both online and Over the counter modes are available
  3. Financial aspects Valid only if printed on stamp paper e-SBTR… Electronic Secured Bank and Treasury Receipt … required for buying selling leasing property. Power of attorney and for agreement needs to be documented. Person can pay online. Bank counter by filling application and making payment.

 

SBI is launching this facility with 10 branches at various locations immediately and other branches will also be enabled within short span of time.Details are verified as per IGR data base and then Bank issue e-SBTR,which act a proof of payment of Govt. for stamp paper.

 

Above agreement was signed by Shri Anil Kawade, Inspector General of Registration & Controller of Stamps, Maharashtra State, Punein presence of Smt. Nayana Bondarde, Jt.IGR, Shri Chintaman Bhurkunde, DIG HQ, Smt.Supriya Karmarkar, DIG Computers and Smt.Sanika Deshpande, Dy.IGR
