57th Vegetable, Fruit & Flower Show-2018

The National Society of the Friends of the Trees is organising its most popular annual event 57th Flower Show at D.G. Ruparel College of Arts, Science and Commerce on Senapati Bapat Marg, opposite Matunga Road Station (W.R.) on 3rd and 4th February, 2018. On the first day Shri. Satish Mathur, Director General of Police, Maharashtra has kindly agreed to be the Chief Guest and present trophies to the winners of the garden competition in Mumbai and around. On Sunday 4th February 2008, the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri. Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, has kindly agreed to grace the occasion as Chief Guest. The timing for the visitors is from 12 noon to 8 pm on the first day while on Sunday the timings will be from 8 am to 8 pm.

The main features of the Flower Show will be mass display of flowers, landscapes, Flower arrangements, Roses in different colours and shades, Vertical gardens, medicinal plants, Cacti, Bonsai, Flower Rangoli, Gajras, Venis, Garlands, etc. Western Railway, Central Railway, Raj Bhavan, Godrej, Hiranandani Group of Companies, Mumbai Port Trust, Mahanand Dairy, Larsen & Toubro, several Housing Societies, etc. will be taking part in the popular Flower Show. There will be various stalls where garden-lovers can buy their requirements in gardening, garden implements, plants, etc. There is no entry fee for the visitors.

Mali dada awards The selected sincere gardeners of the city will be awarded certificates of appreciation, cash award of Rs 2500 each. The tree and garden lovers of the city are invited to witness Western India’s oldest and biggest Fruit, vegetable and Flower Show.
