The Tata Bolt comes in both petrol and diesel variant. The 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine produces a power of 84bhp while the 1.3 Multijet diesel engine churns out a power of 74 bhp. The diesel model is in fact using the same tested and tried engine of the Fiat. It is being manufactured in a plant in Pune with a joint venture with Fiat.

Bolt is imbibed with technologically advanced features such as Electronic Power Steering which allows to manage the vehicle easily through the tough Indian roads. It is lighter than the hydraulic assisted steering wheel.
